Harry Jensen Community Centre
Upgrades
The City of Sydney Council engaged Rogers Construction Group to undertake a project for the Harry Jensen Community Centre, a space that hosts many community activities and is available for event hire. The project involved upgrading the existing commercial kitchen to meet current standards, as well as improving plumbing and electrical services throughout the building. New wall and floor finishes were also installed to meet commercial-grade facility and National Construction Code (NCC) standards, ensuring the centre is up to date with all regulatory requirements.
The existing commercial kitchen was a particular focus of the project. RCG installed custom-made stainless-steel bench-tops and servery stations to provide a more functional and modern space for catering events and community activities. New storage cupboards and appliances were also installed, ensuring that the kitchen is fully equipped to meet the needs of the centre’s users. By upgrading the commercial kitchen and improving plumbing and electrical services, the council ensures that the centre remains a versatile and functional space for community activities and events.
